The head coach (or program leader) should spend some time to draft the Vision and Values for the program.

Review Vision and Values with staff

The head coach (or program leader) should review the Vision and Values with the coaching staff to get feedback, consensus, and agreement.

Conduct Vision, Values and Standards workshop with team

The head coach (or program leader) should conduct a workshop with the team to review the Vision and Values to get agreement. Next, the group should work to define the Standards of Behaviors that the team will live by to drive toward goals and the vision.

Define and agree upon the season theme and Motto

The head coach (or program leader) should facilitate a workshop working with the team to define the Theme or Motto for the season.
